Product Structure

The HNA 2500-QWS Classic quintuplex frac pump adopts a modular two-section structure, mainly composed of a Power End and a Fluid End, supported by integrated lubrication, cooling and mounting systems. Compact, high-rigidity and fully API 7K compliant for continuous heavy-duty fracturing operations.

1. Power End

It is the mechanical driving unit that converts rotary power into reciprocating motion. It consists of a high-rigidity cast crankcase, forged 5-throw crankshaft, herringbone reduction gears, connecting rods and crosshead assemblies. Adopting splash & forced combined lubrication, it ensures stable power transmission and high mechanical efficiency under long-time high-load operation.

2. Fluid End

It is the high-pressure hydraulic working unit, made of integral forged high-strength alloy steel. Equipped with five sets of independent plunger, valve and sealing assemblies. It completes fluid suction, compression and high-pressure discharge. With optional multiple plunger sizes, it adapts to different pressure and displacement requirements.

3. Lubrication & Cooling System

Integrated circulating lubrication and water cooling structure provides continuous oil supply for bearings, gears and packing parts. It effectively controls operating temperature, reduces component wear and extends service life during 24-hour continuous operation.

4. Base & Auxiliary Structure

Equipped with high-strength tie rods, integral skid base and standard mounting interfaces. The overall structure features low vibration, convenient disassembly and maintenance, and strong compatibility with conventional fracturing truck and skid-mounted systems.

How HNA 2500-QWS Classic Quintuplex Frac Pump Works

Power input transmits to the reduction gearbox, converting high-speed rotary motion of the engine into low-speed rotation of the five-throw crankshaft.

The crankshaft drives connecting rods and crossheads to generate linear reciprocating motion, pushing five pony rods and plungers back and forth synchronously.

When the plunger moves backward: internal cavity volume of fluid end expands, pressure drops, suction valves open, fracturing fluid flows into the cylinder; discharge valves stay closed.

When the plunger moves forward: cavity volume shrinks, pressure rises, suction valves close, discharge valves open, fluid is pressurized and delivered to pipelines at high pressure.

Five cylinders work in staggered phases, which greatly smooth fluid flow and reduce pressure pulsation, realizing stable continuous high-pressure fluid supply for fracturing operations.
