HNA 2500-QWS
Product Introduction
The HNA 2500-QWS Classic horizontal quintuplex plunger frac pump is a field-proven heavy-duty hydraulic power unit fully interchangeable with the SPM QWS 2500 pump model, specially engineered for oil & gas high-pressure fracturing operations. Built with mature, time-tested mechanical structures, this robust five-plunger pump carries a nominal hydraulic power rating of 2500 BHP (1866 kW), with an adjustable maximum working pressure reaching up to 20,000 Psi (138 MPa), balancing powerful output, ultra-high pressure and large displacement for harsh downhole treatment jobs.
In terms of working principle, the unit adopts five separate fluid end sections driven by a crankshaft system. Rotational input power is converted into reciprocating linear motion of five individual plungers, which operate in staggered cycles to suck and discharge fracturing fluid alternately through matched valve and seat assemblies. This offset plunger design eliminates severe flow pulsation and delivers steady continuous fluid output. Its performance data is calculated under intermittent operation conditions based on 90% mechanical efficiency and 100% volumetric efficiency. Operators can switch among a full range of plunger diameters from 3 1/2 inch to 6 1/2 inch; larger plunger sizes bring higher maximum flow rates while reducing peak pressure, allowing flexible matching for diverse wellbore construction requirements.
This pump serves as the core host of fracturing fleets, ideal for tight sand, shale oil and shale gas reservoir stimulation, deep well high-pressure staged fracturing, acidizing and other high-flow fluid injection tasks. It works as a cost-effective direct replacement for imported quintuplex pumps without extra chassis modification.
Key competitive strengths cover multiple dimensions. First, its split five-fluid-end layout enables single-cylinder independent maintenance to cut field downtime. Second, compatible HNA high-performance ceramic plungers and heavy-duty pressure valves deliver outstanding wear and erosion resistance for extended service life. Third, the rugged integral frame withstands extreme on-site vibration and variable loads. As an all-round high-performance fracturing pump integrating strong power, wide parameter adjustability and full interchangeability, it stands out as the optimal equipment choice for modern high-pressure well stimulation projects.
