Q1 What is the core difference between multi-directional mold forging valve box and traditional free forging valve box?

A: Traditional free forging only adopts simple upsetting and drawing forming. There are core pores and disordered broken metal streamlines inside the blank, the cross-section hardness difference exceeds HB50, fatigue cracks are easy to occur at cross holes, and the service life is short. Our 30,000-ton multi-directional mold forging extrudes the blank from all directions to eliminate internal defects. The metal streamline completely wraps the cross runner, the hardness difference is controlled within HB15, and the overall service life is increased by 30%.

Q2 Why do hydraulic valve boxes made by traditional free forging have unstable and short service life?

A: Two main reasons: ①The core porosity of the steel ingot cannot be eliminated in the free forging process, shrinkage cavities will be formed at cross holes, and fatigue cracks will be generated under long-term high-pressure pulse impact; ②The forging parameters and heating cycles of free forging are unstable, resulting in great differences in mechanical properties of the same batch of products, and the anti-fatigue performance fluctuates greatly.

A: Yes. Our mold forging valve box fully follows the original size, hole position and interface standard of mainstream international pump models, which can be directly installed and replaced without any modification, compatible with Triplex and Quintuplex fracturing pump fluid ends such as TWS2250, QWS2500.

A: Each product is marked with a unique heat treatment traceability number, supporting ASTM A370 mechanical performance test report, ASTM A388 ultrasonic flaw detection report, electroslag remelting material certificate, grain size inspection report and hardness uniformity test report.
