How Double Ram Blowout Preventer Works

This BOP adopts full hydraulic drive. When closing well, hydraulic oil pushes the pistons to drive two sets of rams to move inward, tightly clamping drill pipes or fully sealing the wellbore. When opening well, hydraulic pressure reverses to retract the rams and restore the flow passage. It is fitted with dual locking devices to keep rams closed if hydraulic power fails, ensuring reliable well control.
